MessageI'm a little confused on the insulin process. Its a hormone that carries nutrients to different parts of the body and its a good idea to raise it after a intense workout to get the carbs and protein to your muscle tissue? I know it also carries carbs to your fat cells as will so you need to keep it down during the day to stop accumulation of fat but do you recieve the protein and all the other good things your trying to feed your muscles through the day if you don't rise your insulin levels? Or does protien not need insulin to be delivered? How much nutrients is your muscles getting if insulin isn't carrying it? Does insulin carry glutamine and BCAA's as will? Or is insulin just there for carbs? Or have i confused every one?
Thanks from,
The amazon
