Well, my routine is currently being dictated by a personal trainer who is certified with kettlebells. He adjusts my exercises every week depending on how difficult I find things. It’s hard for me to post specifics because of this, but I do about 4 sets of 20 reps of swings, snatches, cleans (as well as combos, like swings to push press, etc.) and about 4 sets of 5 reps of core exercises like Turkish getups, one-legged deadlifts and windmills. He also has me doing burpees to cleans, squats, walking lunges, and renegade rows (about 10 reps of each).
A typical daily diet for me:
7:00 am – 1 cup Kashi Go Lean cereal, 1 cup milk, 1 banana
9:30 am – 3 ryvita crisps, ˝ cup cottage cheese
12:00 pm – 1 small can tuna on rye bread, 1 cup raw veggies
3:00 pm – 3 rice cakes, ˝ cup cottage cheese
5:30 pm – 1 chicken breast, 1 spelt tortilla, 1 cup veggies
8:00 pm – 1 cup baby carrots, 3 pieces buffalo jerky, 3 tablespoons of humus
I am sure that I’ve built muscle mass, but I still can’t see it underneath this layer of flab. I don’t look that fit… you wouldn’t think it if you saw me on the street. It’s so frustrating…
