MessageI just started lifting last week. My primary goal over this time period has been to test my abilities, but I want to start getting serious on Monday.
My primary goal at the moment is weight loss, I am comfortable enough with my strength at the moment so that it is not my primary concern. So this brings me to my question. Should I ignore strength training and just focus on muscle endurance and cardio training (swings, C&J, snatches, etc.) for a couple months or until I lose some of my fat (primarily my gut); or should I continue strength training, but just in smaller amounts, with much larger amounts of explosive moves?
