High blood pressure?

Hello,

I'm a 20 yr old college student, 190 14% bodyfat, and very out of shape. Recently I've been testing my blood pressure and it's been around 135/80 consistently. For someone my age this is not good. I was under alot of stress all summer, had sleeping troubles, and had a poor diet. Now I'm at school and I have alot of stress, but am alot more relaxed. Can diet and sleeping really affect blood pressure that much? It's not really genetic for me at all. What can I do to get healthy again? Could meditation/relaxation help me at all? What diet/workout would be suggested? I'd also like to get lean and maybe eventually put a little bit of lean mass on.

As a college student in a fraterntiy, alot of drinking is involved. I try to avoid it whenever possible, but sometimes will drink 10+ drinks. Could this be hurting my blood pressure? What should I limit myself to?
