MessageMaybe 10 to 15 years ago the conventional wisdom was yes, yolks are bad. Now, I think, there is less fear of fat; it has been replaced by fear of trans fats (partially hydrogenated oils), of which yolks have none. Even saturated fat (of which yolks have some) sometimes seems to have fans.
In the early 90's my breakfast was bowl of oatmeal plus 6 hard-boiled egg whites, no yolks. Now, when I eat that breakfast, I have 2-3 yolks. I'll usually eat 1/3 to 1/2 of the yolks when I eat hard-boiled eggs. I think most of the bodybuilders who suck down lots of eggs pretty much have changed the same way.
