Thanks. I have been trying different things. Since its winter, I am bulking slowly to add muscle mass. So far its working. I added a few more carbs albeit good quality ones than what UDS calls for and use fewer more intense feeds both pre and post workout than what UDS calls for yet not starve myself and eat only 1 time per day like WD dictates as to me, to eat 6 times a day is overkill and I cannot stuff myself 6 times a day like UDS wants and I cannot go thru a day on 1-2 meals like WD call for because I would be upset on empty belly all day. I am now 175 and 15% bodyfat which is more muscle but higher bodyfat than a few years ago when I was strictly low carb UDS plan (140lbs at 7% bodyfat) but I have more strength so there is a balance unless one has godlike genetics or does massive amounts of anabolic steroids.
I guess some folks like Arnold, Bill Pearl and Mike Mahler have godlike genetics and can build muscle easily. Not I.
