Is it just really simple?

In order for me to get to the right weight and support sporting activity is it just as simple as to:
1) Eat 5 + clean meals a day (made up of organic protein, vegetables, fruit and nuts).
2) Restrict the calorie intake to an amount where initially i loose weight and then to maintain weight on as few calories as needed (longevity studies?).
3) Drink booze in moderation.
4) Train hard and smart.
Since i don't plan on competing in any body beautiful competitions, and just want to get to a situation where i can see my abs and am after a KISS diet programme - do i need to do anything else?
