Messagewow, thank you guys for all the answers. i certainly don't want to join the cult but it seems kinda hard to argue against his studies. the thing i find strange is that he always combines animal protein with arificially added fat like in fast food as it was the only source of animal protein. i haven't finished the book yet but the japanse seem to be one of the healthiest people in his research and they do eat lots of fish and also meat.
also, to me, meat seems to be the most basic human food, just look at wild lving animals, definitely more natural than to cook plants or rice...
