MessageI realize you asked about WD. Just in case you don't know about it, you may want to see www.fast-5.com There is a free .pdf book download available there. WD and Fast-5 share similarities and have some significant (IMO & IME,) differences. You may also wish to check out the IF section at www.performancemenu.com/forum. ( Mostly athletic folks doing IF. ) Also, on Yahoo! Groups, there is a "Fasting" group ( focus on IF,) and a "Fast-5" group, (focused on the above mentioned Fast-5 program.) BTW, I recently learned of www.leangains.blogspot.com, a BB approach using IF.
Again, IMO & IME, Fast-5 is more concerned with timing than optimal nutrition. You would have to check out other sources, perhaps WD among them, to determine the "what", whereas Fast-5 helps with the "when".
My main reason for pointing all this out is there are numerous people that tried WD (as we understood it,) but were unsuccessful until we "tweaked it" a'la Fast-5. ( Essentially, "undereating" is replaced by a total daily caloric fast, making the fast, for some -many?- MUCH easier.)
All the best,
Eddie
