MessageOlive oil is mostly *mono*-saturated fat. And you are just saying that most of the olive oil you can buy isn't "real". That just means that you need to find the "real" stuff". And I'm sure people who live in that region know which brands of olive oil are the real deal. Check out "Zingerman's Guide to Good Eating" or Sears "Omega-Rx Miracle" for specific brand recommendations.
I'm not sure what else you are trying to say here, TF. Saying that antioxidant rich foods are "only" necessary because of the oxidation caused by the other types of food...is just a redundant way of saying they are necessary.
