Messageoops, sorry about the olive oil claim, my first comment does sound redundant, I mean that if one ate more saturated fat and protein then there would be less demand for antioxidants opposed to a diet more tilted towards sugars and unsaturated oils and it's likely that the balance between antioxidants and pro-oxidants will be tilted towards the latter in the med diet
