MessageIt is a saturated fat which is helpful to the body as long as it is not ingested along with something high in carbos. It tastes good if you like coconut. To be honest, I don't really like coconut foods except for this oil. It has no trans fats which are damaging to the body.It is good for cooking. People who've been stranded on islands have attributed their survival to the coconut. That's gotta say something.
