bro, a good multivitamin, derived from food, not created synthetically, is the only way to go nowadays. today there is simply not enough nutrition available in food, you simply couldn't eat enough food in a day to get ALL the nutrients you need. If you look at the change in nutritional value of foods, an apple for example, now compared to just twenty years ago, there is a considerable difference.
a good balanced diet is great, and can lessen your need for supplemented vitamins, but it is almost impossible to get them ALL. if you have too many supplements, cut down on something else, and possibly replace it with something good for the liver, wheatgrass or milk thistle.
the key to a good multivitamin is that it is derived from food. the synthetic ones do have side affects, aren't as easily absorbed, and probably aren't good for your liver. the best value i've found for a whole food multivitamin is here, http://www.vitacost.com/Natures-Way-Alive-Multivitamin-Whole-Food-Energizer-180-Tabs
its got everything you need, you don't have to take a full dose, and will last you at least two months, for $11 a month. its a great one for loosing weight too
