MessageI tryed the anabolic diet for the first time when I was 19 and it worked great. I never had any blood work or anything done so I cant comment on my cholesterol - but my overall health was great. One major impact was my thinking was much clearer.
The diet is good for gaining mass as well as slimming down. Some guys actually find it hard to gain mass on it. If you try it out, get your body fat down to where you want it first, and then start the mass phase. The key is to eat a lot on the weekends - you'll probably find it hard to get alot of calories during the week, but maybe not.
