Warrior Diet meal timing

It sounds like you're doing fine. I don't think you need to track your eating times down to the minute, though. The basic idea is to relax, eat, and enjoy in the evening when your day is mostly finished.

The order of things matters more to some people than others. Frankly, I find I feel best when I do it Ori's way and eat a big salad first, but many nights I'm just too hungry by the time I get to the table and there's _no_ way I'm going to look at my main course sitting in front of me and _not_ eat it, so I just have my salad along with my meal instead of as the first thing. We all have to find our own rhythm for these things.

As to mixing things, many people, not just Ori, have observed that taking in simple carbohydrate along with fats is not ideal for people trying to lose weight, and maybe even not ideal for most people. Think Twinkies. Is having organic fruit and nuts at the same time the same thing as having a Twinkie? No, of course not, but what foods work in what combinations for you is going to ultimately be up to you to figure out. I generally don't have a problem staying thin and therefore eat pretty much what I want when I want, which means I undereat most days, don't eat at all other days, and will have a big breakfast or lunch once in a while, all generally followed by a big dinner.

As to whether or not you need to spread it out, for me, that's usually a matter of how many calories I need that day to feel full. There's a limit to what I want to eat at one sitting sometimes, and sometimes also my schedule don't match up with a Warrior Diet eating plan very well, e.g., I have to teach an evening class and don't get home until 10 or 10:30 pm. Since I don't like eating a huge meal in the very late evening, I will often have something of a dinner at 6 pm and follow it by another one later or, as you suggest, maybe the protein and veggie part early and some carbs late.

Just my opinion, hope it's of some help to you.
