How come old timers built their bodies without suplements?

yeah,I agree, genetics play a big rool...
I think suplements are great thing,i think they are great for what they purpose is,they suplement! For example,year ago,I drink whey powder,I started so to say lifting weights so I "NEED" to drink that as everybody was telling me I wont succeed without them...I got a pretty god results,but that is probably beginers fast results, more because of just training less because of suplements...I also need to say that I eat very clean...
Then I started some reading,started dinosaur training,lifting Pary way, in general low rep,heavy weights,Big and compound lifts... And I grow like never in my life! So I take brooks advice,and stop using that, I clear in my head that I dont need suplements to succeed,that was probably the hardest thing I ever done :)
I think,if people keep their diet straight,without suplements, and Include HARD exercises with HARD WORK they WILL suceedded! I know I sound like am in some Kubriks cult or something,but that think REALLY WORKS!
For ones who are on suplements,dont stop using them if you are satisfied with them...
But for ones who are still in doubt and need more convincing,there is no magical pill who will transform you body,there is just pain and misery and HARD and DEDICATED work! :)
