I got this idea from Steve Friedes' log on Ori's site.
With all of the stuff going on in SF's life I'm impressed he's able to keep any type of predetermined eating habits at all. Between his work life, home life, and extracuricullar activities (training for the TSC), saying he has a full plate is an understatement.
I was about two weeks late to do a february journal, but when I'm on the WD usually all of my undereating is the same, and I have different dinners. I don't really have a problem with weight, although my abs don't show or anything. I just find it much more convienent to eat this way, and its healthy compared to the way I ate before. That said, I eat whatever I want, whenever I want- it usually just happens to be the for WD now.
Ori ushered me into a new consciousness about eating clean unprocessed, natural/organic foods, and also made me aware that I love veggies. I also realized how much more sensitive my pallette has gotten since I cut out of my diet to a large degree soda, candy, store bought pastries, and stuff with ingredients i can't pronounce, or with an ingredient list that approximates the length of a newpaper article.
Enough talking- here it is:
7:00 wake up, water
9:00 +/- half hour (whenever I arive at work) navel orange (those things are huge), cup of coffee
10:30 cup of cauliflower (sometimes 1/2 broccoli, 1/2 cauliflower), cup of green tea
12:30 either half a pomegranate or a cup of berries (one red type and a blue type), maybe another cup of coffee, or water w/ the pomegranate (i really like the pomegranates when i can find them b/c i swallow the seeds- lots of fiber, which is something i want my diet to have)
3:00 cup of baby carrots and 2 stalks of celery (sometimes I take acidophilous w/ this)
I have water (1-2 of the sport bottle poland springs), coffee (black), and tea (Yogi green or detox tea) throughout my day at work. Sometimes I take fish oil while I'm at work too.
I get home around 6-7, do my pttp for the day and then eat dinner (usually 2-3 servings of whatever my parents made). I want to do conditioning after my pttp, but usually I'm hungry enough to eat a calf by then and just end up eating dinner.
If I feel hungry a couple of hours after that I'll have a smoothie made of whole milk, cinamon, 2 bananas, with a shot of expresso (and a tablespoon or two of flax seed oil or organic peanut butter if its around)
I find on weekends its harder to eat like this- mainly because those days lack the structure I'm provided by my job. I'm thinking about doing a meat/fat binge on Saturdays followed by total juice fast on Sundays (for spirituality as much as health). Just something I've been thinking about.
My main question is:
Am I eating too much during the undereating phase?
Any and all comments are welcome. Thanks for reading this long ass post.
