"Even Steve (who says he follows the diet) says he doesn't follow it 100%."
As I've said before, I treat diet plans like training plans. No two people are exactly alike, and I think the notion of 100% adherence makes no more sense for diet than it does for training. 100% adherence to a training plan might have a place, short-term, if it's a very-thoroughly worked out Sheiko or similar, but even then, it's not forever.
IMHO, 100% adherence to any diet plan is a basically a myth. You have to know when to push yourself away from the table if you wish to lose weight.
Last but not least, the WD for active people and the many, small meals concept aren't all that different when it comes to the practical application. Yesterday, e.g., I had a piece of toast with cream cheese along with my coffee and vitamins at about 10 am, and I had another piece of toast and cream cheese, this time with jelly also, at about 2 pm, and then I had a small protein bar (about 200-250 calories) at 4:30 pm, then dinner at 6 pm, and dessert at 7:30 pm.
Call that whatever you like. I call it the Warrior Diet.
Regarding supplements, the WD works fine without any of Ori's supplements, and we did it that way for several years here. At the moment, I take one supplement of Ori's every day, his Estrox capsules, plus the usual healthy oils, a multi-vitamin, etc., none of which I get from him.
