About a month ago I came down with the respitory flu that's making the rounds.
I was down for about 4 days and then recovered without the aid of aintibiotics or the like...sort of.
Ever since the first day of the flu, I've had a very sore shoulder, calf soreness, sore wrists..all areas that have been sore in the past, but none have sustained a discernable injury.
I laid-off working-out for the full week and have "gently" resumed my KB WO's, but the soreness remains.
Yesterday I did a 12 min swing and a 12 min snatch workout. I can't do the TGU's as my shoulder on the supporting arm has a sharp pain. Today my wrists are very sore and stiff.
Previous to the flu, I could do that WO plus other exercises with no problem...
Is this some sort of residual reaction to the flu? Anyone else going through this? Anyone have any ideas on correcting the issue? (I'm drinking 4 litres of water per day, eating right, sleeping right, not overtraining, taking supplements, etc...)
Thanks...
