MessageWell, peanuts contain good fats and are a complete protein and taste gorgeous, but unfortunately ther are also the highest nutritional source of oxalates. Oxalic acids combines in the kidneys with various minerals (mainly calcium) and form mineral deposits, which can build up into kidney stones.
I would suggest that you only eat peanuts in moderation. Yes I used to eat peanut butter every day and loved it, but I won't touch it any more, because I think it was a major factor of my struggling kidneys. BAH!!! another delicu=ious food outlawed.
