You are following it a lot like me (I'm ~3 months in, and have lost 25 lbs so far, but the weight loss has leveled off in the past couple weeks)
Don't focus on the recipes in the book. They are meager at best...obviously Ori is no chef. Just focus on the principles of salad first, big protein/fat meal next along w/ cooked veggies, and either fat foods or carb foods to finish off the meal.
At dinner I always start off with a big spinach salad w/ as much good stuff on it as I can find (pumpkin seeds, avocadoes, tomatoes, beets, cucumbers, carrots, ground flax, cod liver oil, flax oil, raw milk cheese). This usually puts a big dent in my hunger.
Then for the main meal, here are a few examples of what I've done recently:
- Half a roast chicken (organic, cage-free) along w/ a whole zucchini and a whole bunch of sauteed spinach
- ~12 oz pistachio-crusted salmon (wild) with about 15-20 brussel sprouts drizzled w/ olive oil
- ~12 oz of meatloaf (pasture raised beef) with a full plate of green beans
Then I usually "finish" the meal with either a couple handfuls of almonds, a scoop or two of almond butter, a couple slices of raw milk cheese, a few squares of 88% cacao dark chocolate, or a few slices of sprouted grain bread w/ natural peanut butter (I don't really buy the whole "don't eat nuts w/ grains" rule of the WD).
On heavy lifting days, before bed I'll have a bowl of cottage cheese or plain yogurt w/ a scoop of Muscle Milk protein.
During the day I eat about like you, except I generally have some kefir or a couple eggs for breakfast, along with my coffee.
