MessageGood news, well... sort of. Its now officially a bilateral inguinal hernia. I just got done with a specialist at Bethesda Naval Hospital. Talked to a Navy surgeon who has done many repairs of sports hernias, and of regular type hernias. I have been assured that the laproscopic surgery that is required for this has high rate of success, fast recovery times, and low chance of recurrence. This is quite comforting to hear after dealing with this for the last several years! The surgeon commented that this type of injury is very common with midshipmen, and that he does these types of surgeries on a frequent basis. Thanks again to everyone for the words of advice.
Thomas
