MessageGood day comrades; a moment of your time, if you will.
For the first time I've overcome my laziness and done what needed to be done: I started counting calories, to aid my hypertrophy routine. Today, and yesterday, I positively stuffed myself, feeling like I was constantly eating. You know what I had? 1900 calories yesterday, 1800 today. I need about 3000 to grow! Never before had I realised just how much food one needs to grow! Someone here once stated that "There's no such thing as a hardgainer, just someone who doesn't eat enough" and I can believe it.
So, my question. If you eat so little - say, 1500 calories a day on average (for a six foot 12-14% bodyfat 23 year old) - does this actually encourage your body to store fat when you DO indulge at birthdays and drinking things and whatnot? If I crank my caloric intake to something like BMR x activity - 300, (2200 or so) will I actually lose the annoying fat around my waistline and abs?
Thanks as always.
