MessageWell, I got the book and my wife and I are on the end of the second week of the diet. I do like that it has helped me bring impulse and binge type eating under control as my appetite stays really stable. I have noticed no "crash" or energy lack. I have averaged about 26 carbs a day so far...not including fiber. I have noticed that the first weekend I was on the diet my high carb phase went a little crazy...chili dogs and beer. This weekend I am going to reign myself in a little and try to stick with healthy carbs. My goal is fat loss. I am 223 pounds at 6'4", and I want to drop about 23 more pounds. I lost 137 pounds in the last 18 months so far using cardio and calorie restriction, but losing pounds is getting a bit tougher. I took up kettlebells a few weeks back to help out as well. I am hoping this diet does the trick.
