MessageI started the ana/metaboloc diet about a month ago with an eye on weight loss. I gave the diet 2 weeks at maintenance, and then went to a solid 2300 calories (give or take 100 cals) and 30 carbs a day. This week I am starting to lose, and have lost 3 pounds. Is it possible to sustain this weight loss rate for another 20 pounds without losing much muscle mass on this diet? Should I up the calories to slow it down? I am reluctant to because this last 20 pounds is the completion of a goal of a 170 pounds of weight loss and physical fitness. My workouts are PTTP deadlifts and ROP combined with tabata sprints and light jogging just for general background.
