You are probably just losing water weight and the 3lbs a week will probably slow down to 1-2lbs a week.
If it were me, id stick to the maintenance for atleast 2 months, then drop the calories. This would help to really get the most out of it
If you are going to stick to low cal's now, i'd vary the carb days.

It is about 15 posts down, by DH. He talks about varying his calories throughout the week, at specific times for certain reasons. If I ever cut on the diet this is the way i would do it.
I wouldn't want to lose weight exremely fast, but the AD is very muscle sparing.
