Hi everyone. I'm new here and I would love to get some fresh opinions on a few questions. Sorry about the length of this post but I thought it best to cram all into one.

First one is - how much stretching is enough and can stretching be "overdone"? Background is I'm 5'10, 237 lbs, I lift weights 3 times a week, box for 25 min (either shadow or bag) at least 4 times a week. Sometimes spar and on weekends do at least 3-4 hours of heavy bag training. Been doing so for 4 months and want to increase training intensity and frequency. I tend to be in an awful lot of pain, esp in my shoulders and mid back. Consulted a physio and have no serious joint or other health problems. How much and when should I stretch? What is best stretching for shoulder and mid to low back? I've heard it's bad to do "hanging" toe touch style stretches for extended periods.. is this true?

Second.. Can I train my abs every day? I usually feel no soreness in my abs the day after training them. Will training them to often or to much lead to back problems? Also what exercises are good to counter-balance ab and hip flexor developement?

Third.. Is it normal to lose 4 lbs water weight during a heavy workout? I sweat a lot and the other day weighed before and after for the first time and saw 4 lb difference. Sometimes drink up to 6l of water while I work it. Is this normal or is my water retention messed up somehow?

Again sorry for the length. I appreciate any and all help and am looking forward to contributing to the forum and helping others. I know a fair ammount about boxing/wing chun and weight lifting if anyone has questions.
