MessageI take a yogurt container to work each week, for the week. After the first day, there is a pool of "yogurt water" that has gathered, as if the yogurt is perspiring. I have been dumping this, because the taste is overwhelmingly sour- like yogurt concentrate or something.
Does anyone keep the yogurt water and consume it? Why?
Does anyone know what causes the persperation? Is the stuff I'm tossing beneficial? Does it have cultures, etc? Is it the metabolic byproduct from the live cultures in the yogurt?
