Your goals conflict; the 2-2.5 hour bike rides are perfect for what you're doing with your diet for your body composition, but longer would not be.
Pick one, the century or lose weight. If you must do both, do what you thought and sip Accelerade, eat, or whatever else you need to do to finish the ride in good form, including loading up with carbs for the day or two before the ride.
Most important, increase the length of your long training ride gradually. I would take a tip from other endurance athletes and push the distance no more than once a week, maybe even once every two weeks, but get to the point where you can do 70-80 miles in training.
My most memorable long-distance ride was a 90-miler solo on a fixed gear.
